Three days after South Sudan succeeded from Sudan to become a country in it’s own right, I visited the the Dinka people of Bor to the North East of the capital Juba. Here, more than anywhere else in the world I have been, was to possible to grasp the full breadth of cultural diversity we have still have in the world, and why South Sudan, remains incredibly valuable to this world, and why we should all take an interest in its future.
